About

HOW THIS WORK CAME TO BE

A quiet offering shaped by care, connection, and lived experience, holding a hope for balance in everyday life.

A pathway back to connection

Founder - Penny Barton

Mother Tree of Life is a calm, heart-centered offering created to support everyday life with more peace, meaning, and connection. Through gentle words and simple rhythms, these tools invite personal grounding while quietly honoring community and Earth. Nothing here is meant to be kept up with or completed—only returned to, whenever you need something steady

I created this work as a pathway back to connection — with ourselves, with one another, and with the living world we share.

Over many years, I’ve been drawn to humanitarian and environmental efforts that restore dignity, care, and balance. This project allows me to bring those values into daily life through simple, meaningful actions — without pressure, perfection, or overwhelm.

This work also supports my own life, giving me the freedom to choose when, where, and how I participate in the humanitarian projects closest to my heart. Impact, for me, is not a formula — it’s a relationship, guided by lived connection and thoughtful choice.

My hope is that this wheel and calendar meets you where you are. Choose one action. Let it be enough. Small steps, taken with care, have a way of creating lasting change.

— Founder, Mother Tree of Life

The Mother Tree of Life

She has stood through ages
that had no names.

Her roots remember what we forget—
that all life is connected,
and nothing stands alone.

She does not hurry.
She does not demand.
She offers shade without asking who arrives beneath her.

In her trunk lives endurance.
In her branches, possibility.
In her quiet presence, a steady knowing
that growth does not need force to be real.

The Mother Tree of Life is not a destination.
She is a companion.

A place to rest your attention.
A place to return when the world feels loud
or the path feels unclear.

She holds the seasons without judgment—
beginnings and endings,
stillness and motion,
what is visible
and what is quietly becoming.

The Wheel and Calendar are invitation’s
to walk the year in her company.

To move gently.
To listen more deeply.
To remember that even small moments
are part of something vast and living.

May her presence remind you
that you are rooted,
you are connected,
and you are never walking alone.
